Kingfisher Associates were engaged as Quantity Surveyors for this complex and challenging project, comprising the refurbishment and new build extension of existing flats to provide 6 nr high specification apartments.
The project was traditionally procured on a specification and drawings basis with Contractors Design responsibility for specific elements of the build. The existing structure was extended to provide two additional floor levels with the use of Brise Soleil to create private external terracing areas at roof level. The Client’s own offices and printing facilities on the ground floor were kept fully operational for the duration of the works.
